BIOGRAPHY

Education and Professional Development

She finished elementary school and high school in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Department of Agro-Economics in 1981. At the same faculty, she obtained her master’s degree in 1990, defending her master’s thesis entitled “Comparative analysis of balancing according to balance principles and according to Yugoslav regulations”. In 1996 she defended her PhD thesis on “Specificities of evaluating the value of an agricultural enterprise”.

Professional Career

In the period from 1983-1991 she was appointed trainee teaching assistant in Theory and Analysis of Balance Sheets, Department of Cost Theory, Accounting and Finance, Institute of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. She was appointed teaching assistant from 1991 to 1997. In 2001, she was appointed associate professor, and in 2007, full professor at the Department of Cost Theory, Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Institute of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. Since 2008, she is employed at the Belgrade Banking Academy, Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance. From 2009-2011 she was dean of the Faculty, and currently holds the position of rector of Union University in Belgrade.
