BIOGRAPHY

Education and Professional Development

Ivana Ljutic was born on 20th March 1980, Belgrade, Serbia. She has completed elementary school and Gymnasium with top grades. In 2003, she graduated from the Faculty of Law – University of Belgrade, Summa Cum Laude. She received the annual Awards of the Law Faculty in Belgrade for best students and from the Norwegian Royal Government. She took her MA in Law & Economics, Summa Cum Laude, Faculty of Law, the title was “Tax and Business Aspects of Transfer Pricing.” In 2013 she took PhD (International business law), Summa Cum Laude, Faculty of Law-University of Nis, Serbia “Mechanisms of Legal Control of the Multinational Companies.”
After graduating, in 2003, she took a job at the Faculty of Management of SMEs,European University, Belgrade, Serbia, as teaching and research assistant fellow of International business law and Business Law, until 2005. At the Faculty of Business Studies and the Faculty of State Administration and Administration, Megatrend University, Belgrade, Serbia, she has been an senior teaching and research assistant (Business & Internat. Business Law, Financial Law), 2005-2010. She started her career the Belgrade Banking Academy in 2012, as a teaching assistant in corporate law. law. In 2014, she was appointed as anassistant professor at Belgrade Banking Academy. In 2021, she was promoted to a position of associate professor.
Her proffession interest in research are focused on the BEPS methodologies by the OECD, transfer pricining taxation guidelines, legal and regulatory aspects of integrated reporting, ESG and sustainability. Her research is covering the legal aspects of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, mechanisms of sanctions, embargoes, fight againt organized corporate crime, tax evasion, corruption.
