Milena Lazić was born in Belgrade, where she completed elementary school and high school as a holder of Vuk’s diploma. School year 2008/09. she entered the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, where she graduated in July 2012 with a major in Finance, Banking and Insurance. After the second year of study, with an average grade of 10, she was declared the best student of the year. During her third year of studies, the Dell company awarded her an award for one of the 10 best students of all years of the Faculty of Economics. After completing his studies, in October 2012, he received the Pelzer success award for the best student in the field of Finance, Banking and Insurance, which was awarded by Čačanska banka at that time. She is the recipient of several scholarships from prestigious Foundations for outstanding results achieved during all levels of study.
He enrolled in Master’s studies at the Faculty of Economics, majoring in Financial and Banking Management, in 2012. She passed her master’s degree exams with an average grade of 10. She defended her master’s thesis on the subject of exchange rate regimes with reference to the exchange rate regime applied in Serbia with the highest grade in September 2014. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled Analysis of the function of monetary policy reaction, with a special focus on Serbia, at the faculty of the same name before a six-member committee in April 2021.
From the academic year 2012/2013. at the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance, she was first engaged as a teaching assistant, so that from the academic year 2014/2015. was promoted to the title of assistant for the group of financial subjects. In addition to the title of assistant, within this institution she performed the function of PR manager and Faculty coordinator for international cooperation. Since 2019, she has been engaged in the position of Erasmus+ coordinator at the level of UNION University in Belgrade, of which the Belgrade Banking Academy is a member. As part of the Erasmus+ teacher mobility program, she stayed at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice (Slovakia, May 2016) and the Faculty of Economics of the Danubius University in Galac (Romania, March 2020).
During her professional engagement at the Belgrade Banking Academy, through the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, she was involved in the projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Also, as a member of the research team of the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, she participated in the development of several commercial projects. Since October 2020, she has been employed at the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade as a research associate, that is, since October 2021, as a scientific associate. He is a member of the Society of Economists of Belgrade since 2018, the Serbian Marketing Association – SEMA since 2019, and the Scientific Society of Serbian Economists since 2021.
