Milica Bugarčić completed her undergraduate studies in 2014 at the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance, and Finance, with an average grade of 10.00. She finished her master’s studies at the same institution, in the study program Investment Banking, in 2016 with an average grade of 10.00. Based on this achievement, the Faculty’s Academic Council declared her the student of the generation for master’s studies in 2016. She completed her doctoral studies at the Belgrade Banking Academy, in the Finance program, on December 26, 2019, defending her doctoral dissertation titled “Research on the Impact of Income on the Demand for Consumer Goods – Theoretical-Methodological Foundations and Empirical Application” under the mentorship of Professor Emeritus Dr. Hasan Hanić.
While attending master’s studies, she worked as a student demonstrator in the subject of Stock Trading, which is part of the undergraduate academic program. From November 2017 to March 2020, she served as an assistant in the field of Economics and Finance for courses such as Microeconomics, Investments in Securities, and Modern Investment Banking. In March 2020, she was appointed as an assistant professor at the University Union in Belgrade in the field of Economics and Finance. In May 2023, she was also appointed as an assistant professor in the field of Business Economics and Management. Since April 2020, she has been a external collaborator of the Institute of Economic Sciences, and since April 2021, she has been engaged as a National Consultant for the United Nations Development Program.
