BIOGRAPHY

Education and Professional Development

Dr. Duško Bodroža is a graduate of the Primary and Secondary School of Economics in Banja Luka. In 2009, he graduated from the Belgrade Banking Academy, University Union, in Belgrade. In 2011, he defended his master’s thesis at the Belgrade Banking Academy in Belgrade, where he was declared a student of the generation. He successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “The Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on the Economic Growth of Central and Southeastern European Countries” at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice, Slovak Republic in July 2016. He has an active knowledge of English and German.

Professional training:

  • May 2016. – ERASMUS+Staff mobility between Serbia and Slovak Republic, Balgrade banking acadamy and Faculty of Economic, Faculty of Economics in Košice, Slovakia.
  • July 2013 – professional training at Sophia Antipolis University in Nice, France.
  • September 2012 – professional training at the Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra, Portugal.
  • July 2011 – “Summer School” European Association of Financial Analysts, Madrid, Spain.

Professional Career

Dr. Duško Bodroža researcher career began in 2010 at the Institute of Economics in Belgrade. In 2011, he received the title of research assistant and was elected in 2015. In 2018, he was awarded the title of research associate.

Since 2011 he has been teaching at the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance. Since February 2015, he has been teaching Macroeconomics and Financial Management at the Higher School for Information Technologies, Computer Design and Modern Business.

He has been involved in the implementation of several scientific and professional projects funded by international and domestic donors. He is the author of numerous scientific papers published in international and national journals, monographs, thematic proceedings, and national and international conferences. He participated in the preparation and analysis of several policy documents for the needs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, regional development agencies and local self-government units. He was one of the editors of the journal Economic Analysis, published by the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade. He is one of the editors of several thematic edited volumes of international and national importance. He was a member of the program committee of several international conferences and participated in international scientific meetings. He is a reviewer in several domestic and foreign scientific journals. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Scientific Society of Economists of Serbia. Member of the Intersectoral Working Group for the Economic Reform Program (ERP) in the National Convention on the European Union Member of ERENET (Network for Research and Education in Entrepreneurship of Central European Universities) since 2012.
