Financial risk management
Petar Dimić was born in 1979 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty of economics at the University of Belgrade, Department of Accounting and Auditing, option Financial management and restructuring. He obtained the title of Master of Economic Sciences at the Belgrade Banking Academy in 2020 where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies and preparing a doctoral dissertation.
He regularly and actively participates in specialist seminars and international events.
Professional and business development:
He began his professional career in 2005 with a summer internship at the renowned firm PwC in the field of auditing banks and companies as an associate. In the same year, he obtained a full-time position at the auditing firm BDO BC Excel in the auditing and due diligence department, where he worked for almost three years. From 2008 to 2015, he continued his career in the NLB Group, first for one year at NLB LHB Bank AD Beograd as Corporate Account Manager and then from 2009 to 2015 at NLB Leasing in the areas of financial controlling, risk management, planning and business strategy.
Moving from the bank/leasing in 2015 to the voluntary pension fund management company DDOR-Garant AD Beograd, he continues his career in financial institutions as CFO/Finance Director of the company and the funds. Finally, from 2016-2023, he continued his career at Komercijalna Banka AD Beograd in the area of management of subsidiaries and the bank’s regional expansion department in the position of financial manager and coordinator of subsidiaries.
His greatest professional achievement is being part of team which were completing M&A transactions of Komercijalna Banka AD Podgorica and NLB Banka AD Podgorica as well as selling process of Komercijalna Banka AD Banja Luka
Since 2022, he has been working at the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance, where he teaches as a lecturer in financial risk management
