Mališa Đukić finished undergraduate studies at Budapest University of Economic Sciences (Corvinus University) in 2001. He passed the GMAT test in 2001 scoring 620 points which was officially interpreted as being among the top 10% in the world. In year 2002 he enrolled in University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics for master studies and graduated in 2006 (average GPA: 10 out 10). In July 2008 he completed his PhD at Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. He was awarded a European Commission scholarship for post doctorate research in the field of finance that he implemented from 2010 to 2012 in cooperation with professors from University Sophia Antipolis in Nice. He published papers in international journals and participated in various international conferences.
During 2001 and 2002 he worked as a financial/credit analyst and advisor for international payments at UniCredit Bank. In 2001 he got working experience in trading stocks and futures at AMT Futures in London. Since 2002 he has worked as a manager and a consultant on European Commission and World Bank financed projects. From 2002 to 2007 he was an associate of University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences. Since November 2007 he has been employed by Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of banking, insurance and finance. Prof. Đukić was a guest lecturer at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences – Faculty for Business and Law at undergraduate and master studies.
