BIOGRAPHY

Education and Professional Development

Zoran Grubisic is a professor at Belgrade banking academy – Faculty for banking, insurance and finance. He completed all of his studies, included Ph.D thesis in 2004 at Faculty of economics, University of Belgrade. His Ph.D thesis is in the field of economics and finance with the title „Comparative analysis of different concepts of stabilization policy“.
He posseds the licence as international expert in investment project evaluation on the international course organized by European centre for peace and development (ECPD) in 1995. In the same year he earned the title of official evaluator of capital of companies in the expert course organized by Faculty of economics.
On several occations he participated in postdoctorial research in Nice at the University of Nice and he was a member of several commissions for defending ph.d thesis. He participated on many international conferences, including the series of conferences with the duration of 4 years (2012/26) within the international project Balkint as a part of the project Jean Monnet under the guidance of professor emeritus Xavier Richet from the University Paris Sorbonne from Paris.

Professional Career

He started his career at the Institute of Transportation – CIP as a research associate. He participated in many research studies and financial consultancy. Mainly, the projects were concerned with the company evaluation or investment projects evaluation (for the purpose of EIB and EBRD). He was a chief executive of the project financed by EBRD „Business plan of Serbian Railways 2002-06“.
In the period 2000-2002 he worked at the Faculty of Economics and afterward he was full employed at the University „Brother Karic“ where he was first promoted to assistant professor and then to associate professor in 2008.
From 2009 he work at the Belgrade banking academy where he was promoted in 2009 to full professor. From 2016 he was vice-dean for international relations and from 2023 he is a dean at the Faculty.
As a consultant he participated in many projects financed from international institutions (EBRD, EIB) as well as from domestic consultancy firm (Deloitte).
He published a lot of scientific papers, some of them in prestigious international journals in economics and finance.
